Last week our dear friends, John and Trish, lost nearly everything, when their Lakewood, Ohio house burned.
The brave Lakewood firefighters found Trish in the fire, not breathing; they resuscitated her and saved her life. John was out of town on work, and thankfully so, his being gone most likely saved his life. Sadly, their three cats, Chongo, Monte and Pixie did not survive.
Two of the firemen were injured in the rescue. These men re-entered the blaze twice, after their tanks had run out of oxygen, and crawled on the floors trying to locate Trish. It's a result of their dedication that Trish is with us today. She is recovering from intense smoke inhalation; thankfully, she was not burned.
Both firefighters are also recovering.
I can't imagine the overall grief and sadness, and we'd like to help. I spoke with John and his immediate needs are for short term liquidity, to help them with the necessities. Can you help with even a small donation? John expressed that the need for money is temporary and that he will gift these donations to various organizations when he is liquid.
You can help them to buy clothing and their basic needs by placing a donation in John's PayPal account, (login to PayPal and use the send money to a friend directions) John's e-mail is; firstname.lastname@example.org, or if you prefer, you can contribute to the fundraiser;
Thank you for your time and consideration of helping these friends in need. It's so important to be thankful for every day we are given.
