A very Special reception in honor of our 12th anniversary, City Artists at Work, was held on Sunday May 18, from 6 – 8 pm. At the studio/home of photographer Keith Berr, 1420 E 31st St. ( Map)

The public was invited to attend and we had over 150 people show for the festivities. People brought amazing foods and the wine flowed freely. Twelve original works of art, and several art classes, created specially for this event were raffled off and there were a lot of happy winners. The donating artists include, William Martin Jean, Susan Squires, Kathleen Hammett, Ruth Bercaw, the artists of Tower Press, Wally Kaplan, The 40th St Studio Gals, Robert Jergens, Debra Rosen & Todd Pownell, Terra Vista Studios, Liz Maughans, Mark Yasenchack, and Keith Berr.

Artists whose studios are located in the areas of The Quadrangle, Inc. and Midtown Cleveland and have joined together to create an event to publicize this part of the city where many Cleveland artists work. The event, City Artists at Work brought together about sixty artists whose studios are located in thirteen separate buildings.

The weekend was great and the gathering of our art community along with new friends made for a fine evening.

If you couldn't make it, we will keep you posted for our next event. It's too much fun to miss!
